Co-Op Program
Exploring Different Roles, Making Connections and Finding Mentors

If you're ready to dive into the real world and discover the opportunities that await, the Co-op Program is your chance to gain hands-on experience while making meaningful connections. Under the guidance of our Co-op Instructor at Region Two, you’ll create your own work schedule that reflects your goals and aspirations, while aligning with one of the Region Two programs or pathways.
You’ll have the unique opportunity to explore different roles within your field of interest, whether it's in Culinary, Auto Collision, or Criminal Justice—all while working closely with a Region Two instructor who will guide you through any additional training and provide the support you need to develop key skills.
One of the most valuable parts of this experience is the chance to find mentors in the field. You'll have the freedom to take initiative and procure your own placement, which means you’ll be responsible for identifying a worksite and connecting with potential employers. This hands-on approach allows you to build relationships and network with industry professionals who could be your mentors for years to come.
Your success in this program will be evaluated through both your job performance and the work you complete in your training, giving you a true sense of what it’s like to work in a professional setting. It’s like having a long-term job interview, with the potential for a future career if you and the employer are the right fit.
Ready to explore different roles, connect with industry professionals, and take charge of your future? One connection might make all the difference.
