Health Science Instructor
DeAnna Blake is now teaching Health Sciences at Region Two. She is a Registered Nurse, and graduate from NMCC. DeAnna began her nursing career at Houlton Regional Hospital. She has experience working in many specialty areas of the nursing profession. She has worked Medical/Surgical, Cardiac Rehab, OR, Ambulatory Care, and LDRP, she also worked as a visiting Nurse for Madigan Home Health Care.
DeAnna grew up in Houlton, and attended Region two as a high school student. Two of her sons completed Region two programs while in high school, and currently she has a son enrolled in EMT as a Senior, having completed Health Science as a Junior. DeAnna sees the value in the Region Two programs in both her own family as well as in our community and globally.
DeAnna is passionate about the nursing profession, and is very excited to have the opportunity to share that with students. A few of her goals at Region Two are to introduce, and encourage students who are thinking about pursuing a career in the healthcare industry.
