Welding/Law Enforcement Ed Tech
Chris Rines is a 2006 graduate of Caribou High School where he took several courses from the Caribou Technology Center including Welding & Metal Fabrication, Graphic Design, and Agricultural Science. As a student, he participated in several sports, clubs, and organizations including SkillsUSA and FFA. In each group, he competed at both the state and national levels and held several offices in the local chapters as well as a state officer position for SkillsUSA – Maine.
Upon graduation, he went on to study at Northern Maine Community College and later, the University of Maine at Presque Isle where he ultimately graduated with a degree in Athletic Training. In 2010 he began living in the Houlton area after accepting a position with County Physical Therapy, LLC where he served Houlton High School as their Head Athletic Trainer.
Recently, Chris has decided to move on from Athletic Training and return to his trade roots by accepting a position as the Welding Education Technician at Region Two School of Applied Technology.
Chris enjoys a wide range of hobbies that include everything from coaching, blacksmithing, content creation, graphic design, and video games. His favorite sports are Cross Country running, Track and Field, Ultimate, and Disc Golf.
