Region Two Program Coordinator
Rachael graduated from Houlton High School, and attended University of Maine, Orono for her Bachelors Degree in Education. She began her teaching career in Dedham, Maine, where she taught 1st grade for two years and then switched to teaching middle school students for 5 years. She returned to Houlton in 1998 to teach middle school science and math. Most recently, she enjoyed teaching math to 7th & 8th graders in Hodgdon. It was there that she earned a K-8 Math Coaching Certificate from the University of Maine, Farmington. Rachael currently is finishing her graduate degree from University of Wisconsin-STOUT for Career and Technical Education Program Coordinator.
Rachael has one grown son, who recently graduated from Northern Maine Community College with a degree as an automotive technician. She and her husband reside in Oakfield, Maine with their two dogs.
