Culinary Arts Instructor
Jennifer graduated Houlton High in 1986, and University of Maine at Farmington in 1992 with a bachelors degree in History. Since then she has added her secondary education teaching degree and obtained her gifted and talented certification.
Jennifer got her start in the culinary world at age 12 working for her grandmother at Drake’s Dairy Bar. She worked there for over a decade. From then until 2001 she worked at various restaurants in all different capacities, finally ending as the manager of Paul’s Restaurant in Bangor, Maine. Even after starting work for RSU 29 she continued to work at various establishments that kept her cooking skills up. As an employee of RSU 29 she spent five years in the culinary program assisting students.
Jennifer has always had a passion for cooking and baking and hopes that her passion will excite her students to learn all the aspects of the restaurant world.
