(Katahdin - All day white/colored day): Beginning weeks are devoted to basic skills: Oxyacetylene Welding, Arc Welding, Basic Design Blueprint Reading, etc. The second quarter is devoted to practical experience and a few advanced skills, i.e., Individual projects, Heliarc, Mig Welding, and sheet metal pattern development. The last two (2) quarters are more on an individual basis. Students may elect to try for their certification, or contract for jobs.
